I feel like they recently bought it and at that time didnt know what they were getting, thats for sure.
It’s like they bought it, then took it to a mechanic (friend) who then told them what a poor decision it was.

I mean I’ve seen rolling shells listed for that amount before so it’s actually not a bad price. It might be a pile but $2k asking means it’s a $1500 car at best and as long as the engine is fixable and it's not rusty , it’s not a bad deal for a bugeye.

The list of things actually wrong is pretty short. It will never be a factory fresh car, but it could still be a whole lot of fun. A lot of the parts aren’t even WRX specific. I would go over the entire car with a wrench and to check for missing bolts, that’s the only part that would be potentially scary.
